The Ethan Allen 2017 Spring Camporee is coming up April 21 to 23.
Come any time after 5:00 PM Friday for registration.
Please check in with the office before going to campsites because campsites will be assigned.
Due to wet/soft ground conditions, only vehicles pulling troop/pack trailers or hauling troop/pack gear will be allowed in the camping areas.
Everyone else will need to park along the main camp road leading to the offices and dining hall.
Please be prepared to fix ruts left by your vehicles and trailers.
An event schedule will be handed out at the cracker barrel Friday night at 9:00 PM

Saturday only participants should arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 on Saturday morning.
Opening ceremony is at 9:00 AM Saturday morning.
Lunch is provided as part of this Camporee.

There is a good chance that our afternoon camp wide  service project will involve clearing brush.
Please come prepared with loppers, snips, gloves etc.
If you have a special project that your troop is prepared to perform, please let us know at registration.

If you have any questions, please contact me at edandkari@comcast.net

Scout Executive, Ed McCollin announced the hiring of Ian Molloy to serve as the District Executive for Ethan Allen District as of Monday, April 3rd.  In his role, Ian will be responsible for the growth of Scouting in Addison, Rutland and Bennington Counties by working side by side the many dedicated volunteers and community leaders who are at the heart of the success of the local packs, troops, crews and Posts in the district.  Please join me in welcoming Ian to the staff of the Green Mountain Council.

Hello! My name is Ian Molloy and have recently moved to Bristol to work with the Ethan Allen District. I grew up in Auburn, New York 40 miles west of Syracuse and have been involved with the scouting program since I was a Tiger. I have held various roles such as Senior Patrol Leader, Lodge Chief, Health Director, Aquatics Director, Assistant Program Director, Assistant Scoutmaster, Committee Member and I am eager to now add District Executive to the list as well. I am looking forward to meeting all who are a part of the district and will work diligently to help the program grow allowing an even stronger community of Scouting in the years to come.

I will see you soon!
