Come for a weekend of dirty fun while participating in an archaeological excavation of the former Jones Brothers Company granite manufacturing plant. Learn how to be an archaeologist while getting your merit badge. Also learn about the history of Vermont’ s granite industry from professional archaeologists Dr. Scott A. McLaughlin, Director of the Vermont Granite Museum, and Dr. Jess Robinson, Vermont’ s State Archaeologist. Deadline to register is Friday, August 4, 2017. Please call for availability after August 4.
