Scout-o-Rama 2017

11/13/2016

Plan to have an old-fashioned good time at the Long Trail Scout-o-Rama on January 28th, 2017 at Lyndon State College.

When we say old-fashioned we really mean it this year. Cubs will travel back in time to see dinosaurs, ancient Egyptians and Knights of the Round Table giving them hands on experience to build pyramids, exploding volcanoes, and life in a castle!

And of course it wouldn't be a scout-o-rama without swimming! So plan to bring your beachwear too!

More details will become available as the planning shapes up. If you're coming for the day and would be willing to volunteer to help please contact the District Activities Chair Kristy Walker at (802) 274-7089 or by email at k_walker333@yahoo.com

To help you plan the cost will be $10 per scout and pre-registration will help us to plan a better event that has enough supplies for everyone. Lunch is NOT included so you'll have to either bring your own or else you may eat in the college cafeteria where an all-you-can-eat buffet will be available for $6.85.

Registration begins at 8:30 AM and activities start at 9:00 AM. Activities are scheduled to end at 3:00 PM.

For those who would like to print out information to share at unit meetings a flyer is available.

NOTE: in order to swim a waiver form must be completed and signed. Please print this out and bring it with you. Don't rely on us having enough extras for everyone.

There are separate schedules for cub scouts and boy scouts. Please register your unit with the proper registration form:
  • Pack Registration
  • Troop Registration
