A message from Tony Salgado – 3 Rivers District Training Chair:
Scout Leaders and Volunteers,
Delivering a quality Scout program is one of the priorities of the Green Mountain Council.
One way to do this is to insure our Leaders are fully trained. As the 3 Rivers District Training chair I am committed to offering you as many options and opportunities as possible to meet your training needs.
Many topics can be taken online at my.scouting.org. Annual events such as POWWOW and University of Scouting also offer position specific training opportunities.
Use the Training Request Form below. To let us know directly what your unit's training needs are. My team will do its best to schedule the training, advertise the training and lead the training. The information we receive will allow the training team to be more productive and concentrate on those classes that are in demand.
Here a just a few options:
Den Leader Training
Den Chief Training
Cubmaster Training
Pack Committee Challenge
Fundamentals of Training
BALOO
Charter Org Rep Training
Troop Committee Challenge
Scoutmaster Training (the indoor portion)
I hope your unit takes advantage of this new exciting tool. Improvement suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Yours in Scouting,
Tony Salgado
