2015 Green Mountain Council Spring Camporee Recently Added Content

*****UPDATE****** Additional activities added to GMC Spring Camporee! 2015 Council Spring Camporee will be a celebration of the 150th year anniversary of the Civil War. We will be learning how they lived, eating what they ate, training like they trained and honoring those that made the ultimate sacrifice. There will be fireworks, live entertainment, shooting, gold panning and more!

Silver Beaver Award Nominations Needed Recently Added Content

Since the 1930's when it was first introduced by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Silver Beaver Award has been the highest award a Council can give to its Scouters. It is presented for outstanding service to youth within the Council or for outstanding longtime service to youth by a registered Scouter.

University of Vermont STEM Merit Badge Day

The University of Vermont's College of Engineering and Mathematics is partnering with the Green Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains to offer Merit Badge opportunities for registered Boy and Girl Scouts (Not Cub Scouts or Brownies), ages 11-17, in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
