Scouting Salute to Veterans 2020
The Green Mountain Council has honored the American Legion's decision to suspend its support of this year's Veterans Day Parade. While we will not be assembling in Ludlow on November 7 to renew our annual tradition, there are many new and safe ways to honor our America's heroes.

Join the Bennington EventParticipate to the Scouting salute to Veterans event at the Vermont Veterans' Home in Bennington on November 11th at 11AM. This will be a great occasion to gather as a Scout Family and perform a ceremony right in front of the Vermont Veterans' Home while waving at our national heroes. Due to Covid we are limiting the event to 150 people, first come first served. Find more details here.

Act LocalContact your local Veteran organization to inquire how you can support the veterans in your community or how you can participate in local remembrances.

You can still send us a video clip by Thursday 11/12 in which you are saluting our Veterans!
We will create a video that will be broadcast inside the Vermont Veterans’ Home TV station and that will be post on social media and our website!
