Scoutbook Lite is the upcoming replacement for BSA’s online Internet Advancement site. It is only for recording advancements. Promised release in 2018.
You won’t need to use that site if you have a Scoutbook account, which will be FREE beginning January 1. Advancements entered into Scoutbook are synched and recorded without anything else to do. But units who use Scoutbook get so much more. This online program simplifies recordkeeping, organizes unit rosters, tracks achievements and attendance, builds the unit calendar, sends messages and reminders … the list keeps growing. See scoutbook.com.
For those of you with current Scoutbook accounts, your account has been recently extended so it will never expire. Units without a current account can begin theirs for free on January 1. Questions? See this FAQ sheet.
