All first- and second-year Webelos Scouts, their leaders, and parents, are invited to Mt. Norris for a day and night of Scouting fun.
Webelos will get a full weekend of outdoor camping and adventure while working on Arrow of Light and other Boy Scout requirements for Scout. In addition there will be sessions on what to expect once they join a Boy Scout troop.
Registration begins at 6:00 PM on Friday June 15th. There will be activity stations all day Saturday, with Scouting skills, fun, and games; an opportunity to tour Mt. Norris; and a fabulous campfire program in the evening. Check-out by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Cost is $15 per person.
Camping is an important part of Scouting, and what better place to learn and sharpen skills than at Mt. Norris? Bring your Webelos Den and begin fulfilling adventure requirements for den camping, outdoor cooking, knot tying, and more!
Webelos Dens are to come with their own gear, set up their own tent sites, cook their own food, and enjoy the company of Boy Scouts who will run skill stations and lead games. All under the guidance of experienced Long Trail District leaders who can help your den work out the rough spots of your first den campout.
