In celebration of the 108th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America, all adult leaders (and Scouts) are encouraged to wear their Scout uniform to work to show pride and recognition for this great movement we are all part of. The birthday this year falls on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
You may be surprised to find your colleague and co-workers will be glad to know you are a leaders in Scouting and will undoubtedly have questions about what you do, why and the state of Scouting in your community. This is a great promotional tool that ties all of us to a common mission of helping young people make moral and ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values found in the Scout Oath and Law.
You may also discover that another co-worker, or associate from another company or business is also a leader that you were not aware, and could be the start of a new friendship.
Please spread the word to everyone in the pack, troop, ore Crew you are associated with and mark your calendar for February 8th and put on the uniform!
