What you can expect at Pow Wow!
Take advantage of the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders, ask lots of questions, interact with other Cub Scout leaders, and HAVE FUN!

Who can and should attend? All leaders, assistants, and committee members registered with any Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop or Venturing Crew. The course selection is varied so that regardless of unit position, one will gain something to take back and implement at the unit level. It does not matter how long a person has been involved in Scouting; from brand new to a seasoned veteran of this organization.  There is always something new that everyone can take away from this day of training. In addition, the face to face interaction and fellowship with other Scouting persons adds an additional enhancement to enjoying the day.

Dress: Participants should be in proper Scout uniform.  For new leaders, business casual is appropriate, but don’t forget, the uniform is a big part of Scouting and setting the example. In addition, Scout Spirit, curiosity, questions, and a notebook. are highly recommended.

Time: Check-in begins 7:30 AM. Opening at 8:15 AM. Classes begin at 9:00 AM.

Refreshments: Coffee/drinks and pastries will be provided through the day.

Lunch: Will be provided (any special needs or diets, please indicate on line provided on registration form)

As Scouters, we continue to grow. As we pass along our Scouting knowledge to our peers and to our Scouts, they too will grow. The new adults and youth of today want to know the ways of Scouting. If they do not grow, Scouting will not progress and that would be a great loss to all.
