4/9/2018

We are pleased to announce that the Green Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America has selected Donald P. Blake Jr. to receive its Lamoille County Distinguished Citizen Award, as this year’s most inspiring embodiment of citizenship and service to others.   Donnie is the owner of Donnie Blake, Jr. Contractor, specializing in quality construction of homes.   He is a great supporter of the community and the Scouting program!

It will all happen at our Lamoille County Distinguished Citizen Dinner on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Charlmont Restaurant in Morrisville.

We personally invite you to attend, and join us in honoring Donnie’s many contributions to the youth and community.

This dinner is also an occasion to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Boy Scout program in Vermont. Your participation will be deeply appreciated. A contribution of $1,000 will reserve a table of ten; individual tickets are $40.00 or $75 per couple. There are also opportunities for program book ads and congratulatory notes.  Click Here to download dinner registration form.

We hope you will take this opportunity to support the Green Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and at the same time honor Donnie’s contributions to the youth and community. With your help, the Boy Scouts will be able to continue to instill the values, character traits and leadership skills our youth will need to become the leaders of tomorrow.
