The Green Mountain Council Executive Board, at a meeting on October 26th, unanimously approved the 2018 summer camp fees based on recommendations from the Council Camping Committee. These prices were set based on the ever growing cost of camp operation including but not limited to:
The fee structure is as follows:
Mt Norris Scout Reservation – Clint Buxton – Camp Director – clint.buxton@gmail.com
Early Bird - $365
Regular Fee - $395
Late Fee - $425
Adult Fee - $80 per person
Camp Sunrise – John Dyer – Camp Director – jdyerjr82@gmail.com
Same as Mt Norris for youth
Adults - $100 per adult over and above the free leader formula in place from previous years
Frontiers Camp –Dave Sem – Camp Director – dsemvt@gmail.com
Early Bird – $285
Regular Fee - $320
Late Fee - $340
Dates on payment deadlines will be forthcoming and will be printed in the camp leader guidebooks coming out later this year and announced on the Council website as soon as they are finalized.

- The need to hire older and more experienced camp staff members and to compete with wages outside of summer camp staff.
- The need to expand older Scout programs at Mt Norris and to improve some infrastructure at Camp Sunrise.
- To help offset the annual increases in cost of food, utilities, insurance, program supplies and equipment.
- To move toward the Area and national BSA recommendations on what summer camps fees should be compared to other camps across the country.
