Cub Adventure Weekends - The perfect venue for Family Camping

Summertime is a great time for Family Camping!
 
With the introduction of the entire family to the Boy Scouts of America, families can and should
Take advantage of enjoying the summer weather to do some family camping.  Green Mountain Council has two perfect opportunities designed for our members:
 
Cub Adventure Weekends
The perfect venue for Family Camping

 
Two fun and unique opportunities await Cub Scouts and their parents to do some family camping.  With the heme of “Outta This World”, families will be able to see the camp, enjoy its beauty, have some quality bonding time and have an “Outta This World” experience.  Below are some additional details:
 
July 13-14 – Mt Norris Scout Reservation – Eden VT. 
 
July 27-28 – Camp Sunrise – Benson VT
 
  • The camp staff will provide for each family:
  • 3 meals:  Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast (buffet style)
  • A full-service health lodge with trained staff
  • BB gun range safety, training, and shooting
  • Archery safety, training, and shooting
  • Field games that are fun for the entire family
  • GaGa pit – Mt Norris only
  • Tents, cots and mattresses (you can also bring your own and set up)
  • Picnic tables
  • Firewood
  • Plus much more!
 
  • Cost is only $30 per Scout for the two days
  • Family of four or more maxes out at $100.
