Life to Eagle Information for Life Scouts

The Life to Eagle Procedures Guide includes essential items for your journey to becoming an Eagle Scout. It outlines Council-specific procedures and clarifies the steps to follow as you progress from Life to Eagle. This guide is designed for Scouts, parents, Scoutmasters, and Eagle Coaches.

Based on feedback as well as our mission to prepare today's youth for tomorrow, we are excited to share that we have made some significant changes to the Council's policies as they relate to the Life to Eagle process. PLEASE take the time to clink on the link below to read through these new policies.

Eagle Scout Procedures Guide

Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook

Only the official Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook is to be used. Information on how to download a fillable pdf is available in the Eagle Scout Procedures Guide (link above). The electronic workbook includes expandable text boxes and the ability to insert images.

General Resources

  • Guide to Advancement
  • Lone Scout Friend and Counselor Guidebook

Eagle Project Approval

Once you have obtained the necessary signatures, you will need to coordinate with your designated District Eagle Project Advisor for their review and approval. The District Eagle Project Advisor contact information can be found in the Eagle Scout Procedures Guide (link above).

Approval from the District Eagle Project Representative confirms that the project meets the necessary requirements for an Eagle Scout Project. They will also encourage the Scout to complete the Final Plan and consult a Project Coach for additional guidance.
