Who We Are

The Green Mountain Council continues its proud heritage of serving community organizations across the 14 counties that comprise our service area - the State of Vermont. More than 1,600 youth participated in the Scouting and Learning for Life programs provided by nearly 1,200 dedicated volunteer leaders.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of Scouting America, Green Mountain Council to prepare young Vermonters to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scout Oath
