The 2017 Ajapeu Lodge Order of the Arrow Jamboree patch is now available and on sale at the Council Service Center in Waterbury. This two-piece collector’s patch will go fast as the Jamboree event approaches. There is only a limited supply and when they are gone, they are gone. No reorders. The patch sells for $12.00 for in-Council Scouts and Scouters and $15.00 for all out of Council buyers. This patch will also be available at Mt Norris Scout Reservation during the summer camping season from July 10 to August 6th.

The organizers of this event has asked the Green Mountain Council team to put the word out for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks throughout the weekend. Overall, the event will need around 500 people 18 and older to help. If you want to volunteer, click here – to learn more about the event and how you can help. A mandatory orientation and training meeting is set for July 30 with a location and time yet to be announced. Once you register, you will receive information directly from the Wings over Vermont volunteer organizer.

The new and much improved Mt Norris Leader Guide is now available to view and download for use by all Scout leaders planning to attend Mt Norris in 2016. If your troop has not yet decided or have made tentative plans to go elsewhere, you are strongly encouraged to read this as soon as possible. HINESBURG – Jeff Giroux is 17 years old and can say, backed by Vermont Department of Health statistics, that he may have saved his neighbor’s life.
