Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders (OWL) at Mount Norris Recently Added Content

Webelos Leaders can take this outdoor skills training that will help them plan outdoor events for their Webelos den. They will also cover IOLS which is needed for Boy Scout trips. This will be offered at Mount Norris Scout Reservation on May 16-18, 2014.

2014 Summer Camp Leader's Guides are Posted

The Leaders' Guides for MNSR Boy Scout Resident Camp, Camp Sunrise Cub Scout Resident Camp and Cub Adventure Weekends are available online.

2014 Conclave Registration Now Open to All Lodge Members

We are now accepting registrations for the 2014 Order of the Arrow Section NE-3B Conclave at Mount Norris Scout Reservation! The date of this annual event is August 15-17 (Friday through Sunday), 2014. As you are hopefully aware, Ajapeu Lodge is hosting the Conclave this year, which rotates between all five lodges in our section each year.

Cub Scout Day Camp Fun in Berlin This Summer

The Long Trail District will be hosting a Day Camp for all Cub Scouts. Join them at the LDS Church in Berlin from August 4-8, 2014. Registration form now available.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Spring 2014

Join us at Mount Norris on the weekend of May 16-18 for this important training. This is the Outdoor portion of the required Scoutmaster / Assistant Scoutmaster training. This training instructs you on how to teach basic Scout skills to advance a Scout to the rank of First Class.

In preparation for the summer camp season, the National Council is rolling out a new, simplified annual health and medical record effective March 1, 2014.

Announcement of 2014 Green Mountain Council Annual Business Meeting

The annual meeting of the Green Mountain Council will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 4:30pm at the Best Western Plus in Waterbury, VT. All Chartered Organizational Representatives currently and officially representing chartered organizations within the council’s geographical boundaries and registered duly elected council members-at-large are eligible to vote.

2014 NYLT Registration Now Open

National Youth Leadership Training will be offered at Camp Sunrise from June 29, 2014 to July 4, 2014. Be sure your youth leadership has the skills they need to run your unit. Space is limited. Sign up now.

The Green Mountain Council Announces Camperships are Available

Through generous donations, the Green Mountain Council is able to offer camperships to help scouts attend our council camps. The 2014 form is now available. Forms are due to the council service center by April 9th to be reviewed by the Campership Committee.

Save the Date - Scouting Salute to Veterans 2014

The town of Bristol will host this year's Scouting Salute to Veterans parade. Ron LaRose has been working with local American Legion Post 19, town officials and other town organizations to plan a great parade this year.
