2012 Gold Star Unit Program

New for 2012 all units achieving 100% or more of their 2012 Family Friends of Scouting campaign *goal will be able to select one of the following incentive rewards:

*Goals are based on a $50 donation for each youth in the unit based on March 31, 2011 membership.

 A reminder that if the unit qualifies, only one of the "Gold Star" programs can be selected.

It’s a simple process! The unit leadership commits to a presentation date, time and place and assist, if necessary in making a 5 minute presentation to the parents.

Gold Star Camp Discount Incentive:

Packs: Qualifying packs may choose to receive a $5.00 discount per Cub Scout per night for Camp Sunrise Resident Camp summer sessions (a $60 value)! To qualify, Packs must attain unit goal and the amount of paid pledges received must be equal to or more than the unit goal by June 30, 2012.

Troops: Qualifying troops may choose to receive a $25.00 discount per Boy Scout off the normal camp fee (discount is deducted from fee based on payment schedule) when attending Scout camp at Mt Norris Scout Reservation. To qualify, Troops must attain unit goal and the amount of paid pledges received must be equal to or more than the unit goal by June 30, 2012.

 AND: qualifying units earn a 5% discount off all BSA merchandise (store stock) on one order between June 1 and June 30, 2012. All purchases and orders must be paid in full on the date of order.

Gold Star Advancement Incentive:

All cloth rank patches FREE! (Until March 31, 2013)

Packs: Tiger Cub, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light patches
Troops: Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life patches.
Crews: All Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards and Ranger Award

 AND: qualifying units can earn a 5% discount off all BSA merchandise (store stock) on one order between June 1 and June 30, 2012. All purchases and orders must be paid in full on the date of order.
