Troop 714, Barre Vermont

Troop 714 invites boys 11 yrs to 17 yrs old  to join in the Scouting Experience.   Boys can join at any time during the year. We encourage parents to help out in any way they can, from being a Volunteer Leader, Committee Member, or just helping out on a specific project, event, or meeting.

Boy Scout Troop 714 is located in Barre, VT. We are part of the Green Mountain Council BSA , Long Trail District. Meetings are held at our charter organization, Hedding Methodist Church , located on the corner of Washington and Church street in downtown Barre City.  Meetings take place on Monday evenings from 6:30 till 8:00 PM. 

Activities are based on an age appropriate level of involvement and include physical fitness, community awareness, character development, and of course FUN.  The Troop participates in many events throughout the year including Scout Camp, a week long camping activity, overnight camping events, day trips, and parades.
