About Our Troop

Troop 627 was chartered in 1963 and has been serving the local community in many ways. Cub Scout Pack 620 (Underhill) and Pack 621 (Jericho) feed Troop 627, making it one of the largest troops in Vermont. Our proud sponsor since 1963 has been the Underhill / Jericho Fire Department.

Troop meetings are held every Wednesday at 7pm at the Browns River Middle School on Steam Mill Road. Three or four Court of Honor's are held during the season which usually take the place of a normally scheduled troop meeting. These are held at a local church or town hall where scouts are publicly recognized for their accomplishments. Families are encouraged to attend these events.

Activities are planned for each month to provide for an enjoyable experience along the advancement trail. Older boys may also join our Venture program which offers a wide variety of high adventure activities.
