Commissioner Summit 2009
The Green Mountain Council’s Annual Commissioner Summit for this year was held on Saturday, August 22, 2009.
The Summit is a gathering of all our Commissioners state wide: unit, district, council, assistant district, assistant council, roundtable, roundtable staff, rookies and veterans, trained and untrained, wise and not so wise. The goals of the summit are: for those untrained in the role of the Commissioner, you will leave trained; for those lost in the crowd, you will leave regrouped; for those bored and unmotivated, you will leave inspired; and for those with problems to solve and questions to ask, ideas will abound.
The Green Mountain Council is at the threshold of accomplishing great things, but its success, and the success of its units and districts, lies in the hands of the Commissioner Staff. Therefore, if you are new to the Commissioner ranks or are considering joining those ranks, come join us for a day of fun and learning at our next Summit, and if you are one of our seasoned veterans come share your love of the scouting movement with your fellow Commissioners again each year.
