Become A NRA Certified Instructor - Rifle
A NRA Certified Instructor Course for Rifle is being offered on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 and 10 at the Sportsman’s Club of Franklin County. This is a two day training event open to all Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders run by Robert Goodrich.
Upon completion, attendees will be able to supervise Cub Scout and Boy Scout rifle Shooting Sports activities in accordance with BSA Publication "Guide to Safe Scouting", number 34416A, and register as a Rifle Shooting Merit Badge Counselor in accordancewith BSA Merit Badge books number 35942 & 35948. Attendees will also be able to present NRA Basic Rifle courses. All attendees must be registered Scout Leaders age 21 or older. NRA membership is not required.
Directions: The Sportsman's Club is located off Route 36 in St. Albans Bay at 851 Maquam Shore Road. Head north on US-7 (Ethan Allen Highway/So. Main Street, Georgia); turn left at VT-36/Lake Street and go 2.9 miles. Turn right at VT-36/Lake Road, go
1.6 miles, the club is on the right.
