Words to Live By™ A New Recruitment Campaign

The Green Mountain Council is introducing a new recruitment campaign. It is here and is designed to motivate more young people to join Scouting. It is called Words to Live By™.

As we prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, the essence of Scouting is clear and best expressed by the 12 principles of the Scout Law. These truly are words to live by. They differentiate Scouting from all other activities for kids, young adults, and their families. They guide the progression from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout to remarkable adults. They are the core of a message that motivates people to join the Scouting program.
