Beascout.org - a New Tool for Troops and Packs

Boy Scouts of America will be launching a new web page to assist individuals who are looking for local Scout units. How this works is an individual will log into ‘Beascout.org’, type in their zip code and a map will materialize with the Scout Units in their area, contact information and nights the units meet. Welcome to the 21st Century!

Kevin O’Hara has been busy compiling the list of units throughout the Council; however he does require your HELP!!! In the June 2009 Newsletter you will see an article asking for the information we will need from your unit. Please get this information to the Service Center by July 12. Please note once the website is online, the Service Center will have the ability to edit.

What information we need from you for Beascout.org

In order to get the beascout.org website up and running, we need some information from your unit. The accuracy of this information is very important. We will be able to edit some changes. You can email Kevin O’Hara [Click for member's page] all the information for your unit. He will update the master list that we are using to get this site up and running.
