Pack 207 - Randolph, VT

Welcome to Pack 207's Home Page!

We had a great Pack meeting tonight, hosting Abenaki Storyteller Michael Caduto Native American StorytellerExternal Link and an awards ceremony celebrating the success of months of hard work.

Abenaki Storyteller Michael Caduto spellbound the Cub Scouts with stories of where each bird found it's song, how an Indian confronted the Great Wind Eagle (and what happened next!), and more! At one point all the Scouts were sitting in teams of four paddled canoes to the cadence of Michael's storytelling, singing and learning the songs as they paddled.

Beltloops, pins, beads. Summer was a busy time for the area Cub Scouts. Leader Erica Sears handed almost every Scout their hard-wrought awards with a firm 2-fingered Cub Scout handshake. Their Akela were each recognized and saluted as well.

Special thanks to America Legion Post #9 for their outstanding and continued support of our drive to do our best. Representative Paul Rau attended the entire evening as he tirelessly, always does. We look forward as a Pack to finding ways to help the Legion Post #9 in their projects this year. If you see a member of Post #9, thank them for their continued support of the Cub Scouts. We are truly enabled by their strength and dedication.

I wish we could show you pictures here on the site to convey the fun we had. So much more took place and it is clear we can't wait for our next den meetings and Pack meeting in November.

Heeeeya Hi! (Abenaki storytelling exclamation!)
