Centennial Quality Council

It is with great pride and excitement that I announce that the Northeast Region, Boy Scouts of America has declared the Green Mountain Council a Centennial Quality Council for 2007. The Centennial Quality Award is the highest honor a local Council can achieve. This is the first time in over a decade that the Green Mountain Council has achieved this honor.

No award of this magnitude is won by a few individuals. This was a real team effort. Every Pack, Troop, Crew, Post, Group, District, Committee, and Board in the Council helped to earn this award. The countless hours spent by the volunteers of the Green Mountain Council to provide the outstanding quality program to the youth members is in large measure why this award was achieved. The Executive Board of the Council would like to thank each and every one of the Leaders, Scouts and families of the Council for all the effort. As a community we came together and achieved a great honor. Thank you for making the Green Mountain Council one of the Best Council’s in America.
