Troop Leaders

To Camp, To Camp!!!!

Camping is such a part of our program. What would Scouting be with out Camp. From Summer Resident Camp to that weekend with the guy's. The first thing the Scouts remember, after building fires and playing with sharp objects, is Camp.  From site location to chow, from equipment to things that go bump in the night, we'll talk about some of the important things to make sure camp is safe and memorable. From little things to spice up camp life (like soap and deoderant), to some basic rules (don't bring anything you can't afford to lose in the big poker game), and what helps when things get interesting out there, (its 0-dark-30, and Johnny realizes there's no outlet on the tree outside his tent for a night light).

Bring:what works for you and any new gear you have discovered to our discussion around the camp fire.
