NEW YOUTH - If their Registration form was not sent to Council soon as it was filled out and the cubmaster signed it that Youth is not covered under the BSA insurance Policy, and can not be credited with any awards since he has no record in the system.

NEW ADULTS - Are not to work with youth until their completed applications and Youth Protection Certificates are submitted to Council.

BE SENSITIVE - Original forms must be submitted to Council. Council goes through an annual audit so we need to make sure all things are filled out and the original form with signature and back ground check page is on file there. If you make a copy for Unit records please black out the Social Security Number and Driver Lic. Number. This helps to ensure peoples records are not going to be hijacked. Neither Council nor National B.S.A. will ever use the information to pass onto other organizations.

RECRUITMENT IS ONGOING. We have lost the ability to connect with youth in the traditional ways. So its time to think outside the box. Let Anne Marie know what works for you or if you need help please email her.
