Long Trail Victory Bog Camporee

2010 Sep 17-19 ANNUAL BOGEREE
"Party like a Pirate"

Scouts young and old have made the annual pilgrimage to Victory Bog since the 70's where they are tested and proven worthy to become one with nature. The Trek started as "Holiday in the Hills" to help this tiny community get power lines for the first time. There is a Monument by the roadside to commemorate the ties which bind us to this piece of property. The ownership has passed on to the next generation with this property being kept as a family camp and an area we are invited to use each fall.

This YEAR all who dare are invited to PARTY LIKE A PIRATE.  Details are on the enclosed documents.

Cub Scout Day - "Little BUckaneers" better bring your parents for an occasional assist. There will be plenty to do with lot's of games. Feel free to dress the part and use the lingo of pirates gone by... dream you are Captain Hook or Davey Jones or others and take on the persona to your best.
