Welcome to the Green Mountain Council Scouting Family.  If you have recently joined the Scouting program, we would like to be among the first to welcome you.  This year over 1,750 new families will join the Scouting programs across the Green Mountain Council. 

Several hundred adults will also join the ranks as registered volunteer leaders.  In all, the Green Mountain Council has between 2,500 - 3,000 registered volunteer leaders.  Please take the time and opportunity to participate in leader training.  Thousands have done so before you, and the training opportunities will only continue to grow.  A trained leader provides the BEST possible program.

Please be sure to visit our website often to check on all the upcoming activities in the Green Mountain Council.  Our Scout Shop is located east of Waterbury on Route 2: it has a complete inventory for all your Scouting needs.
