Welcome to Council Executive Board
I have been honored and challenged to serve as your Council president since the June, 2010 Annual Meeting. I applaud all of you for service to our young women and men as they grow in the best youth leadership development program ever created. I was moved by our Centennial Weekend celebration and I know the spirit of Baden-Powell was smiling down on our campfire.
There are many adventures ahead, some hard work and tough decisions. But together, in our Scouting tradition, we can have fun and make progress at the same time.
Join with me, spread the word, Vermont Scouting is alive and well-- come and be a part of it.

The Council Executive Board is the administrative group empowered to take the necessary action to achieve the purpose of the local council. It establishes the council program and carries out the resolutions, policy and acitivities voted by the council leadership. It determines policy for the council in accordance with its delegated authority. It establishes the annual budget and raises money necessary to meet that budget.
