Powder Horn Training
Powder Horn is designed to expose Adult Leaders in Venturing and Boy Scouting to activities and resources necessary to operate a successful outdoor/high adventure program of a fun and challenging nature. It also familiarizes participants with the Ranger Award program and provides guidelines to help Venturers achieve this award.
Participants’ Qualifications:

Must be a registered Leader in the Boy Scouts of America

Must have completed *New Leader Essentials * Basic Leader Training in Venturing or Boy Scout Leader or your position specific training prior to attending the Powder Horn Course

Have a current (within one year of the course date) BSA Class III Medical Form.

Must be ready to have fun and experience many different exciting outdoor activities.
