Opportunities abound for you and your unit's leaders to attend TRAINING!
Get off to a fast start with the on-line sessions offered by Boy Scouts of America National at myscouting.scouting.org/
. Complete the excellent new "This is Scouting" and updated "Youth Protection Training" interactive training sessions, and you are ready for your "Fast Start:" session for your specific position in your unit. All of these courses are available at YOUR convenience, day or night, and you can even save your progress should you need to stop and continue at a different time. How convenient is that!
In the Ethan Allen District, come join us in classroom sessions for more indepth information at the Boy Scout Leader Specific and Cub Scout Leader Specific training sessions in Rutland on March 13th, presented by your Ethan Allen District training team. Bring all of your interested parents and committee members, unit leaders and future leaders!
In the Calvin Coolidge District, the classroom sessions for Boy Scout and Cub Scout Leader Specific will be offered on Saturday March 13 at the Masonic Hall in Woodstock.
Then there is the University of Scouting on Saturday, March 20th. In conjunction with the College of Commissioner Science, a wide variety of skill-building and supplemental training seminars are offered once every two years. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to expand your Scouting skills!
