Eagle Recognition Day 2012

The Class of 2011 Eagle Scouts will assemble at the State House in Montpelier at 9:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2012.  They will witness the Legislature proclaim that day as Eagle Scout Day in the State of Vermont.  The Eagle Scouts will also meet other dignitaries.  At noon they will assemble at the Capitol Plaza Hotel to enjoy a luncheon and program.  The American Legion will present a certificate to each Eagle Scout.  A representative for Council President Paul Hudson will speak. We will also have a special guest with us who will present the keynote speech.  The Scout Executive, Edward McCollin and the entire professional staff will also be in attendance.  Every one of the Eagle Scouts of 2011 have been invited to attend.  Eagle Scouts who were approved by their Eagle Board of Review before December 31, 2011 and have not received an invitation by January 20th should contact the council office.
