    How to access online training
You will need a computer with an internet connection and sound as much of the training is an interactive video presentation. It is requested that you complete these three online sessions before attending any of the Leader Specific training sessions:

    "This Is Scouting"
    "Youth Protection Training"
"Fast Start Training for your position in Scouting"
    1. Go to www.scoutingvermont.orgExternal Link.
    2. On the home page, click on Training in top right.
    3. Under "Leadership Training Resources" click on "Online Leader Training".
    4. Under "Online Leader Training Programs" select the desired training program.
    5. You will be sent to the "MyScouting" webpage and asked to create an account for yourself, if you have not previously made one. When you create this account you will be asked for your member ID # (on your Scout Membership card) and to select your council name (Green Mountain Council #592). If you do not have this, your unit leader should be able to get it for you. This will allow any online training that you complete to be logged onto your record with the Council.
    6. After creating your account, log on to complete your training.
    7. Select "Training E-Learning". Note the (4) tabs "Cub Scout", "Boy Scout", "Venturing" and "General".

"This is Scouting" and "Youth Protection Training" are located under General.

The "Fast Start Training" for your position is located under the appropriate program tab.
