Ethan Allen District Cubscout Swim Meet

The Ethan Allen District Cub Scout Swim Meet and Winter Fun Day held on Saturday January 26th at the Castleton State College Pool had Packs from Castleton Pack 122, Fair Haven Pack 18, West Rutland Pack 116, Rutland Packs 112, 114, 120 Pittsford Pack 110, Orwell Pack 108, Proctor Pack 120, Danby Pack 319 and Brandon Pack 123. Some seventy-nine boys got to play and swim that day.

The swimming activities included the beginners and swimmers tests, kick board relay, pfd relay, ping-pong relay, noodle relay, ring diving and Marco Polo. The boys earned the swimming belt loop, as well as requirements toward the Swimming pin and the Aquanauts Webelos pin.

In the gym, the boys played ping-pong spoon relay, floor puzzles, bean-bag toss, tennis ball toss, whiffle ball, basketball shot, and life line relay as well as learning about swimming safety.

All had a good winter-time activity.
