Camp Merrybrook – Cub Scout Day Camp
July 14 - 18, 2008
9:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday.
Camp Merrybrook is a youth camp nestled in the woods in Derby, Vermont, very close to the Canadian border. Camp Merrybrook has served youth in the Northeast Kingdom for over 50 years.
Camp Merrybrook Cub Scout Day Camp is run by the Long Trail District of the Green Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Our 9th season of Cub Scout Day Camp at Merrybrook!
The theme for camp this year is "Nature's Playground". Each day there will be a different theme. Boys and leaders are encouraged to dress up or bring props for the theme of the day (such as crazy hair day, backwards day, stuffed animal day). However, EVERYONE MUST wear their camp t-shirt EVERY DAY, and no weapons are allowed. Remember: if you bring something, you are responsible for it all day!
We have 6 activity areas: BB, Archery, Field Sports, Fishing, Handicrafts/Scout Skills, and Nature.

(Don't forget to check out the Trading Post! Webelos will do outdoor cooking one day of the week!)
PLEASE do not bring your child earlier than 8:40am in the morning. Families are invited for the Closing Campfire and dismissal on Friday. A parent MUST be at camp at 4:00pm on Friday afternoon to pick up your cub - there will be no bus service home this day.
We practice SAFETY first and foremost and we encourage parent participation.
